I can’t wait to visit this land of riches called Ethiopia. Time to open my eyes to what a metropolis perched 8000 ft above sea level has to offer….so rich in history, beauty, hospitality…

Lately, I’ve been overwhelmed with being ‘content’. What more could I ask for than to be given the opportunity to live a dream. I’m so grateful for the past few months. I’ve learned so much about myself and what it REALLY means to let God take full reins. To make a long story short, God has opened doors! I’ll share all the details later over a good cup of coffee.
I will be leaving for a week of training in Ottawa and Montreal on the 21st of this month. Afterwards, depending on flight availability, I will leave for Ethiopia ASAP. I will be stationed in Addis Ababa, Capital of Ethiopia, for a 6-ish month internship. Due to the Canadian government affiliation with my internship, ON PAPER this is not a mission rather an international government post. However, I see this as a personal mission.
I don’t know what God has in store for me. I don’t know if I’ll get robbed. I don’t know if I’ll get Malaria. I don’t know if I’ll need to be Medvac-ed out like an acquaintance because of Mountain Sickness. I don’t know if I’ll be able to pick up the language. I don’t know how He plans to use me. I don’t know…
All I need to know is that HE WILL USE ME. HE WILL PROVIDE.
I’m going to miss Everyone so much! I get teary-eyed every time I think about saying ‘goodbye’ to family and friends!
